Briefly, the book describes up to 70 varieties of sections of static transformers, starting with primary chokes and ending with power cells and safety equipment.
For example, so that the alternating current from the primary winding can enter the chokes, a system of choke-controlled curtains is provided on the transformer. The choke is not only a reverse voltage filter, but also an insulator for all auxiliary circuits.
Also, to prevent interturn short circuits, the voltage on the secondary winding must be significantly lower than on the primary. For this purpose, chokes are used on the secondary windings.
The secondary winding of a two-terminal network consists of two mutually perpendicular power (magnetic) rings and two chokes with between them.
In practice, TDM-180 throttle sections are used as primary power ones:
Transformers of the secondary circuit, depending on the operating conditions, have a different set of chokes. Therefore, when talking about a “specific” section of the secondary TDT, it means that it is in the same section as the primary. So, for example, in Fig. 17.1 shows the TD102 section, which is included in the TD2102 section. In such a section of the secondary DT, one inductor is wound onto the primary winding. At the same time, for example, on TD104, the primary choke is replaced by multi-zone choke.
Sometimes additional secondary chokes are placed in the primary sections of the chokes, but this is already in modern TDs.
It can be seen from the table that for certain operating conditions, one choke is placed on the secondary winding of the AP, and another on the primary, and these chokes are referred to in series as insulators
